Using over 2,500 weather stations across the world cityBreathe can accurately determine the pollution in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. See the individual levels, your previous exposure and advice on what the pollutants can do and how to best avoid exposure. This also includes specific advice for those who may be at risk due breathing conditions².
If you enable "At risk notifications" GPS will be used periodically in the background to determine the level of pollutants in the area. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
